Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Because from the works of Torah, nobody, not one flesh will be declared righteous in His sight! For through the Torah is true knowledge of deviation.

[20] Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin – like a mirror showing our true condition.
