Then Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his own household is a prophet without honor.”

Jesus addressed their skepticism directly: "A prophet's message is honored everywhere except in his hometown, among his relatives, and within his own household." Familiarity often blinds people to the divine work unfolding right before their eyes.
