The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.

(72) Straight away, the rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered, as Yeshua's spoken word (rhema) said to him that, "Before a rooster crows twice, you'll deny Me three times." Rushing out, he began weeping.

Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered Jesus' words: "Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." Thinking about this, he broke down and wept bitterly.
