He was there in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals; and the angels were serving him.

For forty grueling days, Jesus conquered relentless temptation from Satan himself, surrounded by wild beasts in that desolate place. Yet heaven's angels attended to Him, sent at God the Father's command for His suffering Servant.
