Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

He removes every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every fruitful branch He carefully prunes to produce more fruit. Like a skilled vintner, He knows exactly what each branch needs.
