Everyone who makes an engraved image is vain. The things that they delight in will not profit. Their own witnesses don’t see, nor know, that they may be disappointed.

They that make{H3335}{(H8802)} a graven image{H6459} are all of them vanity{H8414}; and their delectable things{H2530}{(H8803)} shall not profit{H3276}{(H8686)}; and they are their own witnesses{H5707}; they see{H7200}{(H8799)} not, nor know{H3045}{(H8799)}; that they may be ashamed{H954}{(H8799)}.
