Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

Be{G4064} not{G3361} carried about{G4064}{(G5744)} with divers{G4164} and{G2532} strange{G3581} doctrines{G1322}. For{G1063} it is a good thing{G2570} that the heart{G2588} be established{G950}{(G5745)} with grace{G5485}; not{G3756} with meats{G1033}, which have{G5623} not{G3756} profited{G5623}{(G5681)} them that have been occupied{G4043}{(G5660)} therein{G1722}{G3739}.

(9) Don't be carried away by diversely strange teachings because it's good for the heart to be established by favourable grace. Not by foods! In which those who walked by it, didn't benefit.

[9] Don't be carried away by strange and novel teachings. It's better to have your heart strengthened by God's grace than to focus on ceremonial foods, which never spiritually benefited those who were obsessed with them.
