(2) Now, according to an unveiling revelation, I went up and submitted to them the good news which I preach in the Gentile-Nations but in private. To those of repute, to be sure I wasn't running or had run in vain.

[2] I went because of a divine revelation, not a summons from religious authorities. In a private meeting with the respected leaders, I carefully laid out the message I'd been preaching to the Gentiles. I needed to ensure we were united in purpose—not because I doubted the message, but because division would undermine everything we'd worked for.
The F.O.G Paraphrase
and I went up by revelation, and did submit to them the good news that I preach among the nations, and privately to those esteemed, lest in vain I might run or did run;
