(6) Now knowing that one group were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, Paul cried out in the Sanhedrin courtroom, "Men! Brothers! I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees and I'm on trial concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead!"
The F.O.G
[6] Then Paul, with keen insight into the political and theological divisions before him, seized a strategic opportunity. Recognizing that the council was split between Sadducees and Pharisees, he called out in a voice that echoed through the chamber: "My brothers, I am a Pharisee, born into a Pharisee family. I stand on trial today because of my unshakeable hope in the resurrection of the dead!"
The F.O.G Paraphrase
and Paul having known that the one part are Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, cried out in the sanhedrim, ‘Men, brethren, I am a Pharisee—son of a Pharisee—concerning hope and rising again of dead men I am judged.’
