These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

[13] I've written these things to you who believe in the name of God's Son, so you can know with confidence that you have eternal life - not just hope so, but know so! I have written these things to you all so that you may know that you have eternal life. Rest assured, anyone who continues to trust in the Name of Yahweh’s Son will live.
