The F.O.G
[4] Anyone who claims, "Oh yes, I know God intimately," but ignores His instructions is deceiving themselves and others - the truth isn't living in them. It's like claiming to be best friends with someone while completely disregarding everything they say. Someone who says, ‘I truly know Him,’ but does not keep His commandments, is a fraud, for the truth is not in them.
The F.O.G Paraphrase
he who is saying, ‘I have known him,’ and his command is not keeping, a liar he is, and in him the truth is not;
