As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

The anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. Rather, His anointing teaches you about everything and is true, not a lie. Just as it has taught you, remain in Him!

[27] As for you, the Holy Spirit's anointing, which you received from Him, remains in you like an internal teacher. You don't need anyone to teach you new secrets because His Spirit teaches you about everything. His teaching is truth, not lies. Just as He has taught you, remain in fellowship with the Messiah. As for you, the Messianic anointing you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. On the contrary, His anointing teaches you everything and is the truth, not a counterfeit. Therefore, you must remain united in Him, just as you have been taught.
